License to Us

By publishing a quiz on the Site, you grant Eighteen Questions a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to host, display, distribute, and promote that content as part of operating the Site. Published quizzes cannot be individually deleted by users and may remain on the Site after your account is deleted. If you wish to request removal of a specific quiz, contact us at [email protected] and we will review your request within a reasonable timeframe.

Content Standards

You agree not to submit content that:

  • Is false, misleading, or deceptive
  • Is offensive, hateful, or discriminatory
  • Infringes on any third party’s copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
  • Contains personal data of others without their consent
  • Promotes illegal activity

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these standards without notice.

Quiz Accuracy

Eighteen Questions does not verify the factual accuracy of user-created quizzes. Quiz content reflects the views of the creator, not the views of Eighteen Questions.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its systems
  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from the Site without written permission
  • Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to play quizzes, accumulate points, or manipulate leaderboards
  • Impersonate another person or organisation
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Site
  • Distribute malware, spam, or any harmful content through the Site

Gamification, Points & Rewards

The XP points, ranks, badges, streaks, and leaderboard positions on Eighteen Questions are virtual and have no monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or any real-world goods or services. We reserve the right to adjust, reset, or remove virtual points and ranks at any time without notice or compensation.

Social Media & Content Promotion

Eighteen Questions uses third-party social media platforms — including Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, and Pinterest — to promote quizzes published on this Site. This is managed exclusively by the Site administrator and operates as follows:

  • The Site administrator connects the Site’s official social media accounts to the platform
  • When a new quiz is published, the administrator may post an infographic image promoting that quiz to one or more of the Site’s official social accounts
  • This is an administrative function only — registered users and visitors of this Site have no ability to connect their own social media accounts or post to social platforms through this Site.
  • The content posted to social platforms consists solely of quiz promotional images (infographics) generated from quiz content published on this Site.
  • Our use of each platform’s API is governed by that platform’s terms of service and developer policies.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Site that is not User Content — including the Site design, logo, code, graphics, text, and quiz templates — is the property of Eighteen Questions and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our written permission.

Digital Products & Shop

Eighteen Questions offers printable digital products (“Products”) for purchase through our online shop.

Purchases

Payment is charged immediately upon completing your order. All purchases are processed securely through Stripe. By completing a purchase you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

Delivery

Products are delivered as a ZIP archive containing PDF and/or PowerPoint (.pptx) files. A download link is sent to your email address immediately after payment is confirmed. Nothing will be shipped physically. Keep that email — the link never expires and you can use it to re-download your files at any time. If you have an account, your purchases are also accessible from My Shop > My Downloads in your Dashboard.

Licence

When you purchase a Product, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable personal licence to:

  • Download, print, and use the files for your own personal or private group use (family game nights, private events,
    classroom use)
  • Print unlimited copies for personal use

You may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share the digital files with others
  • Use the files for commercial purposes (e.g. running paid events, on-selling printed copies)
  • Modify and republish the files as your own work

All intellectual property in the Products — including design, layout, and content — remains the property of Eighteen
Questions.

Refunds

Refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy and the Australian Consumer Law. Please review our Refund
Policy before purchasing.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services. These links are provided for your convenience only. We have no control over those sites and accept no responsibility for their content or practices. Visiting third-party links is at your own risk.

Disclaimers

The Site and all content on it are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

  • The Site will be available at all times or free from errors
  • Quiz content is accurate, complete, or up to date
  • Your use of the Site will meet your expectations To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by the Australian Consumer Law and other applicable legislation, Eighteen Questions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of points or rewards, or service interruption.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy conferred by the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited to re-supplying the relevant service.
